My new workplace (and where Andy will get his master’s degree) is Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, a.k.a. XJTLU. (In Chinese, it’s 西安利物浦大学.)

The university isn’t that old, but the two schools who comprise this joint venture sure are: the University of Liverpool was established in 1903 in England, and Xi’an Jiaotong University was established in 1896.

Here’s a video from the XJTLU Facebook page, so you can see the campus where we will be!

This year the school celebrates its tenth anniversary. I’m excited to join the staff of the Language Centre and work with the students of XJTLU!
